Secondary School Presentation

Les Beaucamps High school’s technology department has been a key resource throughout the project for both use of on site facilities and borrowing equipment. In September 2018, following the start of Phase two I contacted the Head and arranged to present the project.

The presentation was really well received and whilst a majority of questions focused on the Pig It was a great opportunity to tell the students about my journey and hopefully inspire some to follow their interests with a passion! This was a particularly poignant moment for myself having been told I wouldn’t achieve GCSE’s at a similar age to then completing GCSE's, A levels, a first class BEng degree and a years work as a vehicle conversions engineer at a world leading engineering test facility – something I only did by focusing and relentlessly working at something I love.
