Nato green was used to paint the exterior of the Pig, after removing corrosion with an angle grinder and treating with red oxide. This was done before the new wings were fitted to allow easier painting of inner wheel arches etc.
Welding of rain gutters, wing supports and door skins was carried out before painting.
