Fuel change over switch and fuel lines

The original fuel lines made out of steel were completely corroded and in some instances missing. The fuel tanks were in similar condition, both corroded through in places and contaminated. Spare fuel tanks in fantastic condition were therefore source from the UK with filters and brass caps. These were then fully flushed and cleaned before fitting.The fuel change over switch which separates the two fuel tanks was removed cleaned and reinstalled to ensure proper functioning.Having struggled to save the original soldered fuel line fittings  copper pipe and compression fittings where fitted. This proved to be the wrong decision and as a result i remade the fuel lines using a high quality fuel hose terminated with machined brass fittings and stainless hose clips.
