"Petunia Zen" describes a state of total mind, body and spirit relaxation which my cat seems to achieve when she is outdoors enjoying nature. Whether she is rolling her beautiful fluffy body in a heap of dirt, climbing a tree or lounging on top of my herb garden; Petunia seems supremely content and at peace when there is sun on her face, earth between her toes and a breeze for her to smell. This image was drawn from one in a series of photographs I took when Petunia decided to lounge in the bird bath, despite the birds' protest. This image speaks to me as a fellow nature girl and one who aspires to experience that sort of zen more frequently!
