My cousin has commissioned me to paint a chair for her
grandson as a gift from the family members. This is a challenge, in that I'll
be designing from a series of sent pictures and information about a young man I
know very little about! However, I'm coming up with ideas as I proceed. For
example, while placing the high school mascot onto the spacers (check out
photos), I remembered that my cousin sets up treasure hunts for her grandsons
every Xmas. What a clever idea! Giving them an activity to do while WAITING to
open their presents. So amazingly; I'll be incorporating a treasure map! I'll
keep you posted as to this idea's progress in my next blog.
