40" X 40" oil of blueberry barrens, autumn, Appleton Ridge, Knox County, Maine. In the collection of the Lee sisters (Virginia, Judith and Patricia), Mary's nieces, at their home at Spruce Head, Maine. While she was alive, Mary displayed this painting in the lobby of her apartment building and later in a prominent location at Quarry Hill where she and her fellow residents could enjoy it.
