Thank you for posting these beautiful works of art by Mary Lee McNutt. The colors are so vibrant. Each painting contains many flowing elements, and at the same time a focal point, a place, a home, at which you rest your eyes. I find this very soothing. I especially like “Sky Poem”, “Astral Poem”, “Shielagh”, Untitled Acrylic, “Birches”, “Abstract Seascape #1”, Untitled oil 1966, and “Chalice”. From the collection of Allison Tate, I especially like the abstract oil in golds and blues, and the unframed watercolors of the 50’s/60’s, and /70’s. Thank you!
