The leading idea of this painting is “contrast”, I tried to compose a perfect scene by using a classic Italian vessel called “Goleta Emma Luise“ and one of our newest ships. I am happy, because the Commander in chief (the person from whom I received the command of painting these pictures), set it on the most important wall of his office.
