Quito the city of the Andes,
Quito has the biggest historic part in South America and at the same time the best well cared, Quito's old town has many monuments and historic buildings, most of them are convents and churches that follow a baroque style.
Quito is also the first city in the world that was nominated by UNESCO as heritage of mankind in the year 1978.
Quito' s old tow has about 130 historic sights, the religious character of the city is based in many wonderful and antique churches.
I am very happy, because i have painted this wall painting!, Quito is my city, Quito is for me a city of colors, joyful and peace!
This painting is exhibited in the Museum of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Quito.
