Nothing beats the speed and the convenience of a pen. At times, ideas come quick and fades away so I grab a pen and draw. Not every single drawing turns right for whatever reason but it is a start for a direction not to go. I give my students this advice all the time, draw on the bus, while watching tv, while is the restroom anywhere at anytime. It is my artistic motto.
