I did this soooo many years ago, on canvas so please excuse the grains. I will try to find a better copy to post here. But I feel I captured the personality of them it was a proud piece. I have not found my original yet. If I do I will have it reshot as a transparency and scan once more.
This piece was airbrushed, it was the only means of getting a very smooth gradient and very thin amount of paint. Today, I would and so many other artists would use photoshop. I drew them and never projected anything. It certainly pays if you master drawing and certainly proud if you can draw portraits.
