So, I will be continuing with the series I started a couple of months ago featuring old photographs of my family. I have really enjoyed going through them. They evoked fond memories of those I remembered and made me wonder about the ones I didn't actually know, such as my great grandmother. Elizabeth Nevillier was someone I would have loved to know. The stories my mother would tell me about Nana really made me like her and made me wish that she had been part of my life. I did place a picture of her prominently in this painting titled Generations.
So, during this time of "Self-Isolation" I decided to create a different body of work based on Steampunk. I've always been fascinated by the Steampunk genre so I tried my hand at some jewelry and some journal covers. I've really enjoyed making these and hope you will check out my creations on my site.
