Jeanne Ames is an artist based in San Diego, California, whose work reflects a lifelong exploration of creativity across multiple mediums. Her artistic path began years ago through frequent museum visits inspired by her mother-in-law’s role as a docent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Although self-taught, Jeanne has developed a diverse body of work that includes gourds, pine needle basketry, collage, acrylics, and watercolor.
Professionally, Jeanne is a chiropractor, bringing a unique blend of discipline, observation, and intuition to her art practice.
