This artwork dates from my 1969-1972 period of spiritual development - as described above. This was a six foot long sculpture that stressed the organic qualities of living creatures. It was, as many of my pieces made from 9mm polyurethane film and moved with the ambient air to confront viewers as they walked past. It hung for two days before an irate viewer destroyed it with a large broom. The piece hung in the same sight line as a prized Josef Albers' 'Homage to the Square' painting and was meant as a commentary on the organic forms in nature as opposed to the dry intellectuality of the Albers' painting.
