I was 11 years old in 1978. That year Close Encounters was in
theaters and suddenly there was a lot of renewed interest in the whole UFO phenomena.
I was no exception. That summer I recall some of my friends and me raiding
neighborhood gardens at night. I know it was wrong but it was all done in the
interest of juvenile hijinks.
I think our extraterrestrial friends would have had a lot of fun, but then
maybe crop circles are just rascally aliens doing cookies in the fields.
