I first encountered these creatures from The Dreaming, when I was about 10 years old. In the first dream I became one of them and it was thrilling to have so much energy and power. The Fire Children have the capacity to manifest other forms, the obvious one being flame and the ability to control its temperature. The other two are just as fascinating but are used more as camouflage. One is called the Manifest Mundane in which they look like normal everyday children and the other is called Shadow Manifest. In this form they can not be seen by anyone but themselves. They absorb light much like a black hole does except without the gravitational pull. In the waking world I was informed they inhabit what appear to be rundown abandoned buildings. Many of those buildings are reportedly haunted, but in truth it is not ghosts that roam there in, but Fire Children in their Shadow Manifest form. They have the ability to enchant people as they enter the buildings making the intruders think the interiors are rundown and dilapidated. In fact it is quite the opposite. The interiors, are actually fully livable and in some cases very clean, fancy and immaculate. You may notice they resemble Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch. This has not gone unnoticed by them as well. They are big fans of Marvel™ Comics, especially the Fantastic Four™. The bluish glow emitting from their hearts are the tangent points that connects them to Dreaming and the Waking worlds. On occasion when they are in playful moods they will even make a 4 appear in the blue light as an homage to Johnny Storm. One of the buildings they inhabit in the Portland Oregon area is the Gasco Building. No one is ever allowed in there because it is supposedly very toxic and dangerous. Nice enchantment kids!
