Inspired by the costume offered in the G-L catalogue of 1923.
My interpretation consists of a blouse of cotton harlequin-printed fabric, lined with batiste and a fabulous ruffled collar of vintage cottonette tulle. The blouse is trimmed with bells and closes at the back with hooks and eyes.
Her skirt is silk in a wonderful shade of pumpkin with a bias-bound hemline. Closes at the side with a hook and eye.
Her bi-corn hat, Napoleon style, was a pattern offered in La Semaine De Suzette. My creation is black duopion silk with a silk rosette to finish it.
Exquisite fabric, style and craftsmanship combine to clothe your own darling Bleuette in something extraordinary!
