Creating a space of refuge and sacredness is valuable to your peace and wellbeing. The act of smudging to purify yourself or your space will further place a hedge of protection from negative energies. When smudging, I pray; inviting the Holy Spirit; represented by the smoke to flow throughout my space purifying every nook and cranny including myself and all who enter.
