This piece is the final work of a triptych of drawings created as a body of work in order to create a narrative in my style of surrealism and studies of hands and the self-portrait. When I create my art, I do not always have a definite plan on what I am creating; unsettling news of the ongoing war on the people of Ukraine was on my mind during the creation of this series. The work is a chalk pastel and charcoal drawing, 18 x 24 inches on gray charcoal paper. The work is available for sale and exhibition.
