This piece is the third of a series of prints entitled Myths of the Mountains.This work of art is a monotype print created with dendritic printing methods and drawing techniques on an oval glass plate during a review of printmaking techniques in 2022. I created a series of four monotype prints entitled The Mountain Myths. Each print of the series are one of a kind as they are monotype prints created with acrylic paint and embellished with gel pen detail. The print is about 14 x 22 inches in diameter on paper sized 18 x 24 inches. The series is about my experiences in the tranquility of a lake in the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania where I spent ample time. This work is available for sale and exhibition.
