G-L 1932 Sur Les Cimes- (Down The Slope) For your own dear Bleuette's frosty adventures... a complete ski outfit for winter sports on the mountainside.
Silk lined wool jacket in a luscious shade of grape. Trimmed with maroon silk and vintage pewter buttons. Front closes with hidden hooks and eyes. The matching trousers are jodhpur style in the loose cut around the thigh. Trim on sleeves and the matching silk-lined wool hat is faux leopard fur.
I'm so excited to include the skis and poles to complete the look. I crafted these from wood, leather, cardboard, and shellac.
Treat your favorite Bleuette to the sartorial elegance of a Bluebird Textile creation!
Note: Doll and shoes are not included.

Costumes to dress Bleuette
About
My skills at dressing Bleuette are a culmination of textile endeavors that began at the tender age of five years old when my mother taught me how to embroider. I continued to explore fiber art through sewing, dyeing, weaving and felting until I was reintroduced to dolls and the amazing possibilities of dressing them.
Few dolls have captured my interest so thoroughly. Like so many other Bleuette devotees, she has shown me a way to express my interest in history, fine craftsmanship, haute couture and the wonderful frou-frou of little girls.
