GL Scotland Blue

Woven plaids for fall fashion has been a classic look for eons !  It seems natural to combine this fabric with one of the many "Scottish" inspired outfits for Bleuette.    I  was inspired by the GL fashion of 1924, Scotland, as  pictured on page 95 of the Couturier/Odin catalogue, "son trousseau d'origine Gautier-Languereau", to create this darling outfit for your own darling Bleuette.

The dress is mainly wool, with sleeve and neck contrast of white silk duopion. The clever bias ruffle is edge stitched with gold thread and theres a rose pink silk rosette at her hip.

I've seen many of  these "Scottish" fashions throughout the GL catalogue ; some with a cloche, some with a tam o' shanter, and my favorite, the Glengarry cap. This one is vintage cotton velveteen, lined with silk and trimmed with silk ribbon.
This ensemble was sized to fit both vintage and reproduction Bleuettes.

Exquisite materials, unique design interpretations  and  masterful execution combine to make a creation from Bluebird Textiles  a treasure to spoil the finest of dolls.

NOTE: doll, socks and shoes are not included.
