Inspired by the costume offered in the G-L catalogue of 1940.
My interpretation uses the country theme of "square dance", but instead of the G-L plaid version I used a sweet cotton calico in the tiniest of prints. Like the original, my version has a gathered bodice, leather belt and beautiful angel wing-like ruffled sleeves. The back closes with hooks and eyes.
Her wonderful Swiss braid hat and her matching leather shoes are also included!
