(In)tolerance

 Notre appartenance identitaire est étroitement liée aux objets que nous possédons ou qui nous entourent et partagent, ainsi, notre espace urbain. Ces objets, étant au centre de mon travail, symbolisent la consécration de la matérialité dans son image dialectique, à la fois opposée et liée, entre le sacré et le profane.                                                                                                                                           Le langage formel des sujets et des couleurs choisis, nous révèle une diversité d’interprétation et d’interaction entre la représentation à la fois métaphorique et réelle de notre identité, autant sur le plan psychologique que sociologique.

Ainsi, l’image symbolique de mes sujets se retrouve dans un monde fantastique et joyeux de couleurs vives qui n’est pas moins ironique dans sa construction sociale.

La nature de cette dernière est le contrecoup d’un mariage reflétant deux modes de pensée relationnelle. Le premier se manifeste à travers une réflexion cartésienne gérée par des opérations rationnelles, alors que le deuxième relève de la métaphore, où les choses peuvent revêtir un autre sens. Conséquemment, le dialogue établi entre ces deux modes indissociables reflète la complicité assurée entre le sacré et le profane.

 

Our sense of identity is closely linked to the objects we own or surround us and, therefore, utilize our urban space. These objects, being the center of my work, symbolize the consecration of materiality in its dialectical image, both opposite and connected, between the sacred and the profane. The formal language of subjects and colors chosen reveals a diversity of interpretation and interaction between the representation of both real and metaphorical of our identity, on the psychological and sociological levels.

Thus, the symbolic image of my subjects is found in a fantasy world of luminous and bright colors, which is not ironic in its social construction.

The nature of the latter is the aftermath of a union that reflects two modes of relational thinking. The first is manifested through a Cartesian reflection managed by rational operations, while the second is the metaphor where things can take on another meaning. Consequently, the dialogue between these two inseparable modes reflects the complicity between the sacred and the profane.
