The naval history of France reveals at least fifteen ships named "L' Toile" ! It seems so apropos to create a mariner costume by the same name for our own darling "star", Bleuette!
This version was adapted from the La Semaine de Suzette pattern of 1906, Costume de Quartier-Maître . The jacket , dress skirt and beret were sewn from a lustrous dark gray heather twill . They are lined with a fine blue batiste, and embellished expertly with narrow navy blue soutache. The darling little anchors were hand embroidered with gold thread, and the jacket closure is provided by antique brass buttons. Crisp, nautical, and classic, our darling Bleuette can never have enough sailor suits This costume is sized for both the vintage and reproduction Bleuette.
Purchase with confidence. My creations will surpass your every expectation of fine materials, design and execution! The purchase of a Bluebird Textiles original will be the highlight of your own darling doll's trousseau!
Note: doll, socks and shoes not included . Shoes available seperately.
