Judith's triumphal procession, with the head of Holofernes.  The head is actually taken from the head of a Akkadian ruler, possibly Sargon, c 2500 BCE, in the Iraq Museum in Baghdad.  The story, and its possible derivation, are fascinating to look into.

What a beautiful painting. I love the combination of the playful and the sinister - and what wonderful colours. Memorable art.
