This elegant style is pictured on page 97 of the Couturier/Odin catalogue, "son trousseau d'origine Gautier-Languereau", I have captured this style with vintage and current textiles using couture sewing techniques.
This one-piece dress has the clever look of various layers. The main fabric I code for its unique print and autumnal colors. This vintage cotton is fully lined in batiste. The pleated "apron" is banded with a custom-dyed silk taffeta , which i also used for the ties and other contrasting elements. The back closes with gold-tone beads and silk thread loops.
Her sweetly soft beret is vintage cotton velveteen lined with silk . Also included are are genuine patent leather shoes. They tie with gold soutache braid and accommodate both vintage and repro Bleuette feet.
Entire ensemble sized to fit both reproduction and vintage Bleuettes.
Doll and socks are not included .
Exquisite materials, unique design interpretations and masterful execution combine to make a creation from Bluebird Textiles a treasure to spoil the finest of dolls.
