Two different kinds of linen were used; a medium weight for the dress, and for the pleated front panel, a firm, open weave Belgium linen in a paler shade of the same hue. Fine striped silk taffeta binds the edges and hemline. The matching belt is top-stitched and graced with an antique mother-of-pearl buckle. The belt opens and closes with a hidden snap. The back closes with two antique carved mother-of-pearl buttons.
Her lovely cloche is unlined and adorned with blossoms crafted from the same Belgium linen. Silk ribbons trail off at the back. This costume is sized for both the vintage and reproduction Bleuette.
